Healing Angel for Angel

Thank you Sherri:

Just recently Angel had taken a normal walk as excited as usual without a hitch. Then later in the evening we noticed she was favoring her front right leg and walking rather gingerly. The next day she barely walked at all, laid down most of the day and only got up when encouraged to go outside.

I thought now is not a good time for a vet visit, I prayed and prayed and hoped for her healing. Looking for direction, I called Sherri, she asked questions and used her energy from her house to work on Angel. Angel became very relaxed. The next morning there was some improvement to Angel's actions. Sherri was not going to settle for some improvement. She continued to work on my dog from her home and then came over for a visit, spoke to Angel, stayed a while and left. Sherri continued to work with Angel from her home.

Later that evening we let Angel outside for the last time of the night and to my surprise she ran in the house and up the stairs to the bedroom. Angel now is back to her normal energetic self, gets excited as usual, and is back to loving life as she knows it.

Now we can romp in the snow again and continue to take in this Joyous Christmas Season! I will call Sherri my "Angel for the Weekend"!

Mr. Magic - He's even more handsome in person!

Magic is a handsome black cat with a perfectly placed tuxedo spot. He’s an old boy, always ruled the house with his demands to eat and have someone pay attention to him. Now at 18 years old, he’s started to slow down and is showing signs of getting into a nice routine. The vet has him on thyroid medicine, which of course he pushes around his dish when we mix it in his food. When I came back after a two-week business trip, the cat looked like he lost ALL his body mass and muscle! I know my daughter was taking care of him as she always does but he looked alarmingly thin. The vet said it might have been the disruption of his routine, with me gone for two weeks, so we adjusted his thyroid medicine dose, tried some different food and of course, called Sherri!

Sherri came over right away and immediately connected with Mr. Magic. While he displays an attitude toward us and acts aloof and uninterested, she put her hands on him and the first thing he showed her was a heart and flowers. So sweet! I know my cat has an attitude on the outside but he’s really a sweetheart and was showing her that he knows she’s here to help.

As Sherri continued to connect with him, my previously sluggish cat seemed to perk up! He actually got out of his bed, went to his food bowl and started eating! And that’s just the beginning. In the weeks following Sherri’s work on him, he’s getting up, eating, and is showing signs of interest in his food. He’s doing SO much better, is purring, and looks content and has a sort of ‘knowing’ about him, like he knows that he got help and appreciates the love.

Sherri has a wonderful gift for connecting with animals and their owners. She’s now an essential part of my pet’s care team and I highly recommend her for anyone that cares about their pet – and their family!

KC (Kitty Cat) and the Chiropractor

I rescued my kitty about two years ago from a home that had five dogs and three of them were Beagles who were vicious and predatory.  Needless to say K.C. was in a severe defensive/protective/fight or flight state for almost a year before Sherri stepped into her life.

This cat was resistive to friendly advances and most affection, and would run and hide every time anyone approached.... even me - the one who feeds her!

One day about 4 months ago while Sherri was straddling one of my chiropractic tables I handed her K.C. and within one minute of Sherri applying her healing touch the cat demonstrably settled into a relaxed/blissful state.  What was also startling is that when Sherri left about 20 minutes later my kitty stayed on that table for the next five hours and wouldn't move... even when other patients were coming in and out of that room...we all were astounded by the dramatic contrast.

Since then KC and Sherri have become great buddies and the progress keeps escalating where she accepts more and more affection for longer periods of time and has lost most of her over-defensiveness. She is a joy to be around. Thank you Sherri - you are truly gifted!

Growing Pains

"Sherri has helped me tremendously with my kids.  My youngest could get upset easily with his older sister.  After Sherri worked with him remotely she identified some issues, consulted with me, and then made some adjustments that seemed to allow all three of my kids to flow much more smoothly with their days.  I found my youngest able to cope with his feelings with more ease.  My oldest able to be open in new situations and all three trying novel ways to be with each other.  It is nothing short of miraculous.  I highly recommend Sherri's energy work."

Naomi - Best Friends Animal Society Alert - Rescued from Hoarding Situation

I responded to an e-mail from Best Friends Animal Society in Utah about a NJ cat's situation that started with "Sweet, shy Naomi spent most of her tender two years in the hands of a hoarder, along with 130 other cats. Foster life in Spotswood, New Jersey, has given her an idea of what it means to be someone’s cherished pet, even if she doesn’t know how to fully embrace the role."  Below is the e-mail from Naomi's foster after I worked distantly with Naomi and her foster family.

"Sherri kindly volunteered to perform some reiki sessions when she saw a post about my difficult-to-place foster cat. Poor Naomi had been taken from a hoarding situation, the only home she'd every known. Her transfer to our home was traumatic for her, and she never quite seemed to recover. While we were working with a potential adopter, Sherri performed a couple of long-distance sessions. I noticed a substantial positive change in her demeanor, and I was able to pick her up and cuddle her for the first time ever the day after her first session. The move from our home to her permanent home was completely uneventful, and she has settled in to the home almost overnight, whereas her first 3 weeks in our home were spent in hiding. I think Sherri's help and energy had a great deal to do with this".
